We welcome suggestions for Outings, Classes, and any other Ideas that you may wish to share with us. Please make suggestions to the GHLA, through E-mail to any Board Member. Let us know what you think about things and what you want to do as a member of the GHLA. After all this is your Association, too.
Events are open to members of GHLA, members of other locksmith associations, practicing locksmiths, student and apprentice locksmiths, trade associates and other security professionals. Proof of involvement in the security profession may be required.
THE LOCKSMITH REGISTRATION LAW
If you a Locksmith as defined by law and work on any Mechanical Security Device" for the public you will be required by law to become registered under the TBPS. You will have to maintain liability insurance and have a background check conducted. Also, if you install Electronic Access Control you will have to be licensed.
